Intelligence that sees deeper.
Imagination that goes further.

Nunnora Innovations is a software and mobile-app company founded in Chennai in 2026. We are small by design, and we intend to stay that way: a few people who care about the same things, working on one product at a time until it is right. Every product is thought through at the level of the detail, because that is where people feel the difference between software that merely works and software that understands them. We would rather make one thing people keep than ten things they forget.

Nunnora begins with the Tamil word நுண் (nuṇ): fine, subtle, precise. It is the word Tamil uses for the smallest things that matter, the fine grain of sand, the fine point of a stylus, the fine distinction a careful mind makes. In Tamil, intelligence itself is நுண்ணறிவு, "fine knowledge". So the first syllable of our name already carries the word for intelligence inside it, and the rest of the name is a promise to live up to it, in every product, at every scale.

Mobile apps for iPhone and Android that feel inevitable: nothing to learn, nothing in the way, and nothing you have to forgive. Software products that do one thing completely and keep doing it for years, because the best software is the kind you stop noticing. Interfaces drawn by hand, down to the last pixel and the last word. And intelligence used only where it helps people see deeper into their own lives and work, never to show off, never for its own sake.
04 · 2,000 m · Where the sperm whale hunts
Our mark is a whale's tail at the moment it rises from the water, the last thing you see before the deep. The sperm whale dives two kilometres into total darkness and finds its way by sound, seeing where no light reaches. The humpback travels eight thousand kilometres a year, the longest journey of any mammal, with its calf beside it. The largest brains on Earth, going deeper and further at once. That is the standard we hold ourselves to.

Our first products are being built now, with great care and without hurry. We do not announce things before they are ready, and we do not ship things we would not use ourselves. Until then, the company is quietly at work in the deep, where the best work is usually done. When the first of them surfaces, it will carry this mark.

We are not yet open for enquiries. When the company is fully registered, this is where you will find us.
Nothing here is a video. The ocean and the sky are computed on your screen in real time by a single fragment shader: every pixel traces a ray into a moving sea surface, reflects the sky, catches the sun, and, when you scroll, dives below the surface into light shafts that get darker with every metre. The whale is a full three-dimensional model, lit by the same sky, cut by the same waves, and bent by its own tail as it breaches.
Drag to move the sun. Press B to call the whale. The panel changes the sea state, the hour and the current, the pace of everything that moves. Scroll to descend to the floor, four thousand metres down. Below three hundred metres the water glows where you move, the way real sea sparkle does; in the midnight zone, click to send out a sonar ring, as a sperm whale does to see in the dark.
